The Dragon Above, Siberys is the Progenitor Dragon connected to arcane power. According to the Creation Myth, out of Siberys’ blood and remains arose the dragon race. Siberys is also the commonly used vocabulary for everything above the atmosphere of Eberron, namely outer space, and the Astral Sea. The Ring of Siberys orbits Eberron, a dense collection of Siberys dragonshards which fall from orbit occasionally.

The term is also used to refer to dragonmarked heirs who manifest a particularly large and powerful version of their house’s mark. This incredibly rare dargonmark is called a “Mark of Siberys” and the heirs are colloquially known as “Siberys heirs.”
