Ogres are some of the largest non-giant humanoids known on Eberron. Their strength and sometimes aggressive nature intimidate people and make them especially effective mercenaries, but all ogres are not warmongers. They share a common ancestor with trolls, oni, and orcs. They can interbreed with half-giants (the product of which is the eneko), and they are believed to have originated in what is now the Riedran province of Borunan, where an ogre and oni military culture ruled a series of warring city-states.
