Sarlona has been many things to many races. Its origins are draped in mystery, as the oldest dragons never speak of it, the Draconic Prophecy rarely mentions it, and any records that may have existed in Sarlona have been lost or destroyed. Humans, yuan ti, kalashtar, shifters and the Inspired can all trace their origins back to this landmass.

It contains the nations of Riedra, Adar, Syrkarn, and the Tashana Tundra. Sarlona is notable for its prevalence of psionic energy, though not a lack of arcane magic, as its manifest zones are often more powerful and chaotic than those of Khorvaire.
