After the creation of Eberron, all manners of powerful creatures roamed the world, but none more powerful than the rakshasa rajahs, or demon overlords. Their reign of terror kept the world in a state of constant chaos for millions of years, only brought to an end by the combined efforts of dragons and the couatls, and their manipulation of the Draconic Prophecy.
